Augustus Caesar (63 BC - 14 AD)

Augustus Caesar was grand-nephew of Julius Caesar. He was the first Roman Emperor. He took the name Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus ( Octavian) after the murder of Julius Caesar, who had made him his heir.
